#xubuntu has migrated to #github for development and #transifex for translation.

This is disappointing to see such unethical move by leading #FreeSoftware projects. This happens while #gitlab and #gitea are very much mature and even far ahead of github. For translation also #weblate is a very much capable #FLOSS platform.

Let's react and change their mind to remain ethical.

I've just discovered #Pattle a great #android and #iOS IM app. It's really nice, looks like WhatsApp or other "pro" IM clients/service. Difference is it's #FLOSS #freesoftware based on #matrix, just like #Riot. It's great, check it out! After the last government of SPD and CSU had distanced itself from the prior progressive #FreeSoftware strategy, the new coalition agreement in Munich commits to the principle of "Public Money? #PublicCode !". The FSFE welcomes this decision by the new government and will closely monitor the progress of the implementation.

Again and again I am surprised how Spanish administrations pioneer the transition to using #FreeSoftware ecosystems inside Europe:

I read about this FLOSS license that makes software proprietary but for a limited amount of time

After, say 2 or 3 years, the project automatically becomes GPLed or something
